Annie Starke, Glenn Close’s daughter, looks a lot like Tim McInnerny. (Annie Starke’s father is John Starke.)
I dare say Annie looks like a perfect blend of Glenn and Tim.
Disney’s Home on the Range - Will the Sun Ever Shine Again?
People can say what they want about the movie, but this song is great. It was my favorite part of the movie back when I first watched it in the theater. I was pretty blown away by the song, ngl.
Oh yes, I adore that song. The movie was cute, too, and I love “Little Patch of Heaven”, which describes my dream home (which is finally being built)!
Okay, my dream home isn’t near Nebraska and it has more than half an acre. But you get the idea.

Posts like these always upset me. OP, whoever you are, you do NOT have to be a face character to make people smile. You don’t even have to be a character for that. I’ve had plenty of regular Cast Members make my day. Disney Cast Members are all people out there, doing their jobs, to make the guest experience a magical one. Do not ever think that the only way to have fun and make others happy is to be a character.
Yeah, but a four year old girl isn’t going to remember the cast member that told her where the bathroom was. She’s going to remember meeting face characters.
Wow…you missed my point entirely, and that’s really sad. You know what kids will remember? That really funny guy on Jungle Cruise who told jokes about the animals. The custodians that painted Mickey’s face on the ground with water before the parade. Maybe they’ll remember the nice woman/man in the white nametag who helped them find their parents after getting lost. Or the woman outside the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique who shares pixie dust with you. Or the Cast Member that let them ride in the front of the trolley, and then let them pet the horse after. They won’t remember the person at the Tiki Room who let them wake up Jose to start the show.
Oh wait no. No, none of them will ever remember that, because none of that was magical at all, and only because they weren’t done by characters. :\
I worked there as an artist and I can’t tell you how many children approached me with wide-eyed wonder. They asked me all sorts of questions, like how young I was when I started drawing, what I did to practice, could I draw their favorite character, how could THEY become a Disney artist, etc. I had several young children give me gift drawings because they looked up to me (and I still have them all). I had several families who came back numerous times because they remembered me and wanted to see what pictures I was working on. I had children tell me they wanted to grow up and be an artist like me (which made me cry on a couple occasions).
I’m not saying this to show off. I’m saying this because you DON’T have to be a face character to make magic or make people happy. I did it for five years just being myself. And those were five years I’ll never forget.
“I just want to make people smile.”
See, now I know OP is lying to her/himself, because if you just want to make people smile, you will do it no matter what job you get in any company, Disney or otherwise. Hell, you don’t even have to have a job to make people smile. OP wants recognition, wants to be remembered, and that’s okay, but it makes me so sad that the only reason someone wants to make others happy is so that they can point and go ‘oh, that’s me, there. i did that awesome thing’.
I will never be a face character. I am okay with that. I just want to give someone else magic- I just want to live the magic, and that’s what any member of the Disney company should want.
OP, you want to be remembered and recognized, glorified for making someone else’s day. That’s not what “just wanting to make people smile” is about. Redefine your desires and come back later.
Think people are being too harsh to the OP. She sounds like she’s a performer and performing is a part of her own happiness, agreed, but how is this wrong? It’s not wrong. It’s how some people are, needing applause to live. Lord knows I’ve sobbed when not cast in theatre and sobbed over my lack of rhythm.
Yes, you can bring happiness no matter what you do.
You don’t have to be a face character to perform.
But
there
is
nothing wrong with having specific dreams.
